Annual Conferences

Conferences are held each year, and bring together many local and international delegatesto learn about the latest developments in the industry. The conferences include two or three days of original papers, presented by Australian and overseas speakers and a number of associated social events which give delegates the opportunity to network and socialise with each other.

Technical seminars and workshops

These are aimed at specific education needs of practicing chemists and technicians. Most State Sections hold a monthly technical meeting and occasional plant tours. These are regular talks on topics of general interest to people working in the surface coatings industry. Each lecture is followed by a lively discussion over dinner. The State Sections also organize social activities such as dinner dances, picnics and sports days, where members can meet in less formal surroundings.
